Macro v Micro - A Simple Game To Show Why Numbers Matter......

Note: The above 2 screenies show the following:-

  • An evil tactic being executed- notice the blue shiny ray being warped into the battlefield.
  • The number of troops that safeguard Pip's Fortress.
Ah yes, the battle against MACRO and MICRO. The 8th Post of depicts a tale of how at any given day, Starcraft is a MACRO game. If you notice from the above 2 screens, you can see the number of troops that GAME and Pip have. Readers will also find Razrigz signature move being executed in its final form - the Cannon Rush. However, while the Cannon Rush move utilises an opponents blind spot, this also serves as a double edge sword as well. The builder is blinded with the number of troops their opponent has (such as in this case).

Anyways, Raz began issuing orders to Druggy to harrass Pip while the Cannons were building. Druggy obeyed with his zerglings being the meatshields for Raz probe to continue building more cannons. The prelude and aftermath of this can be illustrated below:-

Note: "Burn Raz! Burn! Let me show you how well Protoss honor does against hot lead and propane tanks!" cried Pip.

Shortly after the onslaught of carnage, Pip began messaging GAME:-

"Plan C. Plan C" Pip typed.
"Roger" GAME responded.

Please refer below for an explanation of what "Plan C" is in GAME and Pip's language:-
